| The WindQuester Horizon 2 Lite Tent |
One of the most important findings in my review last year of the WindQuester Horizon 2 Lite tent was that there was no footprint offered for the tent.
As someone who regularly camps in very rough environments, a tent footprint is a necessity if you want to avoid punctures in the floor of your tent; this is especially important for lightweight tents.
Well, I'm happy to report that WindQuester now offers a great footprint that is perfectly sized for the floor of the WindQuester Horizon 2 Lite. It's jet black, very light and made from 20D ripstop nylon polyether urethane and silicone.

I had a chance to use the new footprint on a recent trip, and it completely met my expectations. Beyond being a perfect fit in size, lightweight and easy to pack, the attachment points are colour coded with the tent itself so that you can easily tell the difference between the foot end and the head end.
I'd highly recommend that anyone purchasing a WindQuester Horizon 2 Lite tent protect their investment by purchasing the footprint as well!
